Booking Conditions

Detailed below are the terms of the agreement between you “the client” and us, Flying Visits Limited, a UK registered company. Please read these conditions carefully. Signature of the booking form indicates acceptance of the conditions.


Booking and payment

Please check with us first by telephone as soon as you have identified the dates you are interested in to check for availability. The completed booking form should either be sent to Flying Visits at Aou Carde, Lagarde Hachan, 32300 Mirande, Gers, France, or faxed to 0033 562 67 09 21 or e-mailed to info@flyingvisits.com, together with a deposit payment for 30% of the trip cost. The deposit is not refundable, unless for some reason we cannot accept the booking. The full balance is required 8 weeks prior to departure. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the departure date, full payment must be sent with your booking form. If the monies are not received by the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.


Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation cover) at the time of booking to provide full cover for all your party’s personal belongings and public liability as these are not covered by our insurance. Neither the owners of the houses we visit nor Flying Visits accept any liability for any losses that may be incurred for which insurance is available.


Cancellation charges

We must have notification of cancellation in writing.
More than 8 weeks prior to arrival – loss of deposit.
Between 8 and 2 weeks prior to arrival – loss of 50% cost of tour.
Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival – loss of 100% cost of tour.

Provided cancellation is unavoidable, these costs should be recoverable via your personal travel insurance.


Amendments to your booking

Made by you: If you decide to make an amendment to your booking after the booking has been confirmed, an administration charge of £20 will be made.
Made by us: In the unlikely event that we have to change your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be offered a choice either of alternative dates or cancelling your trip and receiving a refund.
Airlines have different conditions and charges for making amendments to a booked flight, it is your responsibility to ensure you are covered by travel insurance for any extra charges.


Flights

It is your responsibility to satisfy the airline’s terms and conditions. We cannot be responsible if the airline does not allow you to board the aircraft. Equally, we cannot be held responsible for delayed and cancelled flights. We will meet delayed flights but your trip will still finish on the original leaving date. It is your choice whether you board the delayed flight. It is your responsibility to have insurance to cover these possibilities.


Accommodation

Your accommodation will be in our beautiful Gascon property at Aou Carde, either in the Farmhouse or in one of our gites. All meals will be provided from the first evening until your departure.
